This construction yields a layer that is very wind-resistant while remaining breathable, that dries quickly, and is quite warm. With an exterior that’s knitted with heavier-gauge yarns than the typical soft-shell fleece, it’s resistance to abrasion is exceptional.

The drawcord-adjustable hem seals in warmth while helping create a custom fit. The full-length front zipper is backed by a storm guard for improved wind resistance. Hand pockets are lined with microfleece for comfort and warmth, and secure with sturdy zippers. Our Granite Spire Fleece is far warmer in windy conditions than standard fleece, more breathable than soft shells with wind-blocking membranes, and features the durability to perform season after season.
